Unconscious Bias training beyond notions of 'good' or 'bad'

Staying away from notions of 'good' or 'bad', 'right' or 'wrong', my co-facilitator Fares Al Qadi and I host effective and dynamic trainings on Unconscious Bias, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

We acknowledge that we are all biased and that we can become (increasingly) aware of it. Awareness alone will not break the cycle however, and so we offer the tools to help overcome the biases that are identifed. Click here to read more.

For Stichting de Vrolijkheid, I lead a surprise intervention by young coaches with a refugee background.

Goosebumps guaranteed:

This disruptive intervention adds that extra depth and impact to your training program or team session. The young coaches (age 17-29) coach managers of Dutch companies on personal leadership and change. This exchange-with-a-twist creates powerful mutual learning: managers gain unexpected perspective and insight, while the young coaches develop their talents, confidence, and professional skills. It's a win-win.

For this project called Meeting Point, I collaborate with numerous training agencies. My most loyal and consistent collaboration (sixteen years) however is with de baak.

For NewBees INC, I facilitate sessions on Inclusive Leadership.

Using VR technology and a framework of inclusive leadership skills, I help teams to become more agile and communicate more openly when it comes to topics that are usually perceived as uncomfortable and challenging.

In 2025-2026 I was also involved in the project Denkend aan Holland, an immersive interdisciplinary program that uses theatre to open up people's minds and hearts when it comes to the mechanisms of systemic exclusion.

Based on Gregory Kramer's Insight Dialogue technique I hosted the dialogue sessions after the theatre performance.
